IT Management Consultant, IT Risk Assessor, Information Systems Supplier and Maintainer Background & History Richard Stirling has more than 20 years experience in the Computer Industry with extensive skills gained over a variety of hardware platforms from PC's, Networks (Novell & Microsoft) to Fault Tolerant Mini and Mainframe architecture. He trained initially as a COBOL programmer and soon developed an interest in front-line client support. This was pursued and he gained industry standard accreditations include including, amongst others, Novell's fabled CNE certification. He added to his undergraduate qualifications in 1995 by studying for a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Derby. He advanced into the field of IT Management Consultancy bringing together technical and management expertise to compliment his skills earned from years of experience within the industry. His clients are based Nationwide and he has particular speciality in the supply and support of the Platinum range of software with reference to the Logistics and Haulage industry.
