Motor Racing & Drag Racing Photo Specialist Professional Photography Throughout his life, Richard Stirling has been a keen photographer. His first professional job was on the occasion of the Duchess of Devonshire opening Abbey House, the first girls house at Repton School in Derbyshire. Such an event was unheard of at the time in the 423 year history of this (at that time) boys-only school. The photographs were published in both The Times and Derbyshire Life magazine. A multi-time photography competition winner, Richard went on to develop his photographic flair which remained a personal interest until the late 90's. At this point he was asked if he would be able to take up the challenge of photographing a big wedding and after accepting that task, referrals then started to bring in regular work for other weddings and family parties, etc. This work has continued to flourish. Richard is also a lifetime fan of motor racing and other sports, in particular, the sport of Drag racing. In 2000, Richard returned to the tracks with his camera equipment and in 2003, founded a fans web site dedicated to the sport of drag racing called www.topnitro.co.uk which remains hugely popular and is updated regularly after Richard has been to the races. Pictures taken at the track side have been widely published in the motoring press. Richard currently used the latest digital cameras available from Canon. He uses a pair of Canon EOS 50D Cameras with BGE-2 battery grips and EX580 flash guns. He also uses the phenomenal Metz 76 MZ-5 blitzing "hammerhead" flash for near-daylight results in poor lighting conditions. Richard has a selection of the highest quality lenses: Canon EFS10-22mm (very wide angle), Canon L17-40mm, Canon L70-200mm and L28-300 Canon Lenses. Richard is available as stills photographer for Wedding and family occasions. He also available for Business & Commercial work and also Portrait production and freelance media shots. He can provide professionally printed prints on (within reason) whatever media you like. These professional paper prints come with (and this is NOT a misprint) a 150 year Anti-Fade guarantee!
